About Artist
Graffiti artist and painter, John Andrew Perello alias JonOne, of Dominican origin, was born in New York in the 1960s.
Self-taught, he moved from the urban support to canvas (those travel worldwide), to create works clearly influenced by his experiences (hip hop, street, subway) and modern paintings.
In an innovative style beyond graffiti laws (street art, urban culture), his art deals with his "freestyle" (freedom he values above all else), without any limits.
After moving to Paris in 1987 and meeting very various artists (Speedy Graphito, LAII, etc.) a new conquest began for him: the canvas.
In a very short time he made a name for himself on the Parisian art scene.
